Rated 5 out of 5 by Savannah330 from Best rod you can get if your a women! I bought this rod a couple weeks ago. And all I have to say is... Wow. This is by far the best rod you can get for a women, that is actually for a women. All the other ones that are for a women are cheapos. And ain't work a $1. But this one however is amazing, not only looks are good but it performs too! And you can't beat the price for the quality it is. I use to always just use a mans pole cause you couldn't find a good women's one. Until this one! Buy it, you won't regret it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cindi from Excellent sensitivity and balance The rod was exacly as described. Made for women but elegant, not girlie. Well balance, great tip sensititivity. Excellent I have come to expect from Ugly Stik.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Marcelabassin from Great rod, but... I have the 6 ft ladies gx2 ugly stik and I love it. However, I hope Shakespeare will look into making a ladies 6ft 6 in medium heavy or heavy rod. I love to frog fish and most of the lake around me have lots of weed and grass. Pulling a fish out of heavy grass with a medium rod is a struggle. I would go to the regular GX2 ugly stick, but the handle is far too long for me (I'm only 5'4) and my arms are not that long. Please look into it, Shakespeare!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sophie from Light, responsive PRO: I bought this because of the price and reputation for sturdiness, size and light responsiveness. All good! CON: I have small hands and the cork grip is too thick for my fingers to fully grasp or completely close around. After several hours of fishing, this slight imperfection becomes noticeably fatiguing. At 5'1", I would also prefer about a 5' 8" length making casting easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Clark129 from Can't beat it Bought this rod for my girlfriend for Christmas but couldn't wait. We took it striper fishing just to see how it did. First fish broke off using 12lb line. But was happy to see her haul in a 6lb striper yesterday. I am very impressed with the this rod and ugly stik as a whole. Will be buying there striper combos for bigger striper soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mema7 from So comfortable to use! I bought this rod and reel and love it! I don't like the cork handles and I wanted a rod and reel the guys wouldn't want to use so I got the hot pink. It really didn't matter my 12 year old grandson used it and caught seven big bass this past weekend. We liked it so much I bought him one so I can have mine back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RMHemmer from Excellent action Bought this for bass fishing in CA lakes and Delta. Good length on the pole and good action even on smaller lake bass and trout. Love the ladies touch for colors as well, but the performance is the seller!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Teri47 from Nice rod I bought this rod a couple of weeks ago and was impressed by the balance as well as action. It has yet to make it to the lake but from all appearances it wont be disappointing.
