Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeromy from Great action and sensitivity. I have used ugly stiks Tiger rods for over a decade. Fishing for halibut at depths of 150-550 feet I need a rod that delivers excellent action sensitivity. The Tiger checks all the boxes. With a great back bone I know that my Tiger stiks are going to stand up to any fish I hook and at very economical price it's deep water rod that every fisherman should have in his arsenal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by IrishJig from Incredible Rods Own 4 of these rods & fish them hard on the east coast during commercial striped bass season and also double the rods for ground fishing use (cod, haddock, Pollock). I have mine paired with Avet LX's on the 5'8" rod and the Avet SX's on the 6'3" (?) rods. Dependable - Durable - Well Built - Great Value!

Rated 4 out of 5 by gcove from The rod works great for fish up to 80 lbs and the only thing I find is the fore grip loosens up over time, causing it spin. The action on it is good and price is good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stacey from Superlative equipment "A" plus on this fine piece of fishing equipment. I had never used a jigging rod until I became curious about the technique and then purchased a Shakespeare Tiger Lite rod as a result of having 15 other Shakespeare rods. I knew I had the best equipment and that I would be successful fishing once I mastered the technique of jigging. I have been using this rod for two joyous years and now realize that it's time for me to get a spinning/jigging rod as a companion for what has become a standard in my fishing arsenal. Great product, keep up the good work.
