Literally just unboxed this baitcaster combo and reel won’t spin. Tried putting line on the reel but spins once every 10 turns. Tightened all the knobs, nothing. Loosened the knobs, nothing. I tried everything, still won’t spin. Emailed customer support and got an automated response saying response is delayed due to high volume of calls. Looking to exchange for a different reel

My first bait caster i ever bought and or used, also my first ugly stik, i put 8lb mono on it even tho its rated for heavier line

bought this combo and before I even got it to the water the reel snapped into pieces while being put onto the rod. I'm a big guy but I'm not that strong. sent the reel back before my 30 days purchase was up and haven't heard from customer service. the reel got there almost a month ago. the rod is great so far but not workable without a reel or some money back. the customer service is horrendous and I'm definitely not going to be purchasing from this company ever again. the only thing they have said is that they would replace the whole combo under warranty. um no. I just need a new reel that isn't faulty! remember this is before my 30 days of purchase after 30 days its warranty issue. I give 0-star rating for this company. It only gets 1 because I have to, to submit this dang review.
