    Terrible customer service!

    I ordered this item for my son’s 14th birthday and noticed an incorrect shipping address immediately after ordering. Attempted to contact Ugly Stik customer service multiple times (via phone and email) right away to correct the error. Received an email response over a week later AFTER the order had already been delivered to the incorrect address! Do better, Ugly Stik customer service! You’ve lost a customer, the rod is now lost forever, and I am out a lot of $$$!!!

    Amazing combo

    This combo is one of the toughest (for its size), the most smooth, fun and lightweight rods I’ve had. I caught a 10-pounder lingcod with it a couple days ago and it put up a good fight, but nothing this rod & reel couldn’t handle! I would recommend this combo to anyone wether you’re looking to just get into fishing or if you’re an experienced angler looking for a good lightweight jigging rod that won’t break even if you hook something huge.

    All around awesome

    Holds up to its name! Can't beat an ugly stik and if you do, it won't break lol! Love the smoothness and how lightweight it is. Casting out is a dream.

    Love this rod!

    Bought this rod last year, used it all summer salt and fresh water. Very sensitive and just all around a great setup. The reel is smooth never had a single issue all year.
