Hard to beat an ugly stik…

Bought a couple years ago as a combo at Costco with the 7’0”UL rod. Kind of a weird length and power for me, but I’m sure there is an ideal use out there like crappies and bluegill. I’ve caught several +20” THICK rainbows with it, but you’re committing to 1/4oz at most lures. Casting an F7 seems like a musky plug, but ideal with smaller jigs. It’s a little whippy, but very sensitive and if it can handle some of our MT reservoir fat-boy trout, it’s tough! Now my goal is to try to get some smallmouth!

Very solid build, good flexibility and for the price you can't beat the sensitivity it has.

    It's a Hoot!

I have the 7' ultralight and lemme tell ya, it's the best ultralight rod I've ever owned. Hands down. It's sensitive and tough as nails. Just the other day after work, I caught 17 smallmouth bass in about 40 mins on the 7' ultralight. Averaging around 3-4 lbs. Now you talk about fun. I've caught trout a plenty ranging from little natives all the way up to a 6lb citation rainbow on it. And I've not even had it a year yet. The guides do great with braided mainline. Casts 1/32oz marabou jigs like a dream. I love this pole. Named her Beatrice. Pick ya one up you won't be disappointed I guarantee it!
