    Bad customer service

I have over 15 ugly stiks right now i use and love so purchased this one awhile back and finally got around to using it only to discover the rod is warped from the factory and always leans/casts pretty far off to the right, i have emailed ugly stik many times the last few weeks with no answer and have called the customer service line to get this rod warrantied and nobody ever answers or returns my messages, dissapointed after being such a huge ugly stik fan, i guess ill start using a different company

Hard to beat an ugly stik…

Bought a couple years ago as a combo at Costco with the 7’0”UL rod. Kind of a weird length and power for me, but I’m sure there is an ideal use out there like crappies and bluegill. I’ve caught several +20” THICK rainbows with it, but you’re committing to 1/4oz at most lures. Casting an F7 seems like a musky plug, but ideal with smaller jigs. It’s a little whippy, but very sensitive and if it can handle some of our MT reservoir fat-boy trout, it’s tough! Now my goal is to try to get some smallmouth!

Very solid build, good flexibility and for the price you can't beat the sensitivity it has.
