It’s a good rod but cheaply made I’ve had this for about 2 weeks it was brand new. Went out to the lake today and it snapped off when getting it out of the rod holder. Seriously disappointed I thought ugly stiks were supposed to be good

I sent an email and after several days I received a response asking to confirm something then they immediately sent a service rating. I tried to confirm what they were asking and haven’t heard back since. The issue was my reel handle literally fell apart for no apparent reason.

Came in good condition- slightly earlier. Had to switch the handle to the other side, but other than that came perfectly!

Never had a better Ultralight Trout fishing rod than this one. I've caught more than my fair share of trout with this beaute. Cheap, effective, durable, and overall the best bang for your buck. Had to buy another one. Next up I gotta buy the Uglystik Elite series, heard it's the next step up from the Gx 2

Decent for the price, not a 3 star but most definitely not a 5 star rod. Then again, I'm not a fan of ultralight rods.
