    Love this combo for jigging walleye!

    I used this rod on the western basin of lake erie to jig for walleye in march of 2026. I was very happy with how this rod and reel performed and held up to big prespawn lake erie walley. It is very sensative for light hits but strong enough to let you really dig in and control the bigger heavier fish without fear of failure. Spooled it with 10lb floro braid. I would recommend this combo to anyone. My buddy and I own several ugly stik combos from ice fishing on up to larger rods for trolling lake erie. All perform flawlessly and take a beating. We never fear failure on any of them.
