I've had it for a year now, and I fish almost every weekend, catching baby tarpon, some weighing up to 14 pounds The rod works perfectly; it's the best rod in terms of performance and price. For a whole year, I haven't had to change any guides or rings, which was very common with other rods. All I can say is congratulations

Replace the reel and it makes an AMAZING small stream trout rod PERFECT for flicking under brush and skip casting in narrow spaces.. Doubles as a great ice rod for winter as well. Can handle some hefty ones.

I bought this rod due to the price since I have so many fishing rods already. I never thought it would hold the weight of a big fish but to my surprise it holds a 10 pounds Bass easily.
