4'6" gx2 with 6lb monofilamemt and a "tiger apache" 1/4oz Joe's Flies landed this beauty. Great rod, handles perfectly, great for hiking into little creeks or taking a personal best 19.75" brook trout out of a stocked lake! The pink accents are sexy.

I was fishing sand shrimp for anything that wanted to bite not expecting a sturgeon, but I hooked one on this rod and it held up just fine. This little stiff rod is a beast.

Bought the rod for throwing Thundersticks and large spinners for salmon/steelhead in Michigan. First time out caught a nice steelhead on a Thunderstick in the Grand River. Rod casts like a dream and is light in the hand. Build quality by far surpasses the price. Love this rod.

This 9' med action GX2 is a work horse. Catches trout, blue gill and crappie in the morning. LMB & SMB in the afternoon. Throw in some 12-15 lb cats in the evening. Walleyes at night. Oh yes did I mention a carp or two some days, 10-20 lbs. Start all over the next day.
