I got these to try for the sole purpose of removing those deep bass hooksets that may kill the fish-you are able to get really deep into the mouth of a mfish with great grip durability to remove all types of hooks-also great on saltwater toothy fish=they hold up very good to pressure and do not bind.

I got these pliers a couple months ago and really like them. I have used them for salt water fishing and also freshwater. They have not rusted at all yet and I really like they way they angle. I have used them to remove hooks from those dangerous saltwater catfish with ease. The angle keeps those deadly fins away from you while removing the hook.

The angle of the pliers is key and this really makes a big difference for removing hooks with ease in any scenario. Great length, grip, and durable coating too. I've used these pliers for both freshwater and saltwater and have zero complaints!
