    Tuff Rod

Tuff rod , handles the abuse that I put them through year round as a guide. Definitely like the great action of the medium light for down rodding stripers.

Very nice and great price. It actually handled a 65 pound drum fish

Best rods on the market. The only rods that I buy.

I only buy Ugly Stix rods. Have never had one fail under any condition. They withstand the fight of big Strippers and when Crappie fishing, you can feel the slightest nibble. In my opinion the best rods on the market today. Still have and use the first one I bought twenty five years ago.

    Incredibly durable

I was fishing (for rockfish) in the Chesapeake Bay with peeler crabs for bait - dragging it alone the bottom. When I hooked into something huge. I didn't know what it was for about half hour into the fight. It was a 38 lb cownose ray. My MH 7' UglyStik handled it beautifully (along with my Daiwa LEXA300 reel). It took 1hr and 20 mins. to get it the boat (7 times around the boat and numerous runs).
