I bought this rod to fish strictly for river fishing and it is the most sensitive, strong, and kicka** river rod I've had. Outstanding performance for the price you can't get anywhere else. The most important aspect of this rod for me was the Eyelets that are tougher than a Army Mule that is important for me as river fishing is such an unpredictable environment. The reel is of a different brand as I often find the best fit for the type of fish I go after.

This rod could score 6 starts if it only had a hook keeper. Why ugly, why, would you not put hook keeper on this rod ?!?!?!?!?!

Tiger guide tip has worn groves from using power pro braid. I'm a life long ugly stick user and for the first time I'm dissatisfied.
