I have the 6,10 and 20 reels with an awesome ugly stick 7ft, medium. They have all preformed above what I expected. I have expensive Baitcasting and Spinning reels. They have a purpose also. These reels are good strong tools, to use for River fishing (Mississippi) and various canals and lakes. They have never failed me,

Bought my first 20 yesterday and was very impressed. Solid spincaster. Much stronger than my 808. Did say it will catch fish....

Upon receiving my new reel, I noticed the solid construction of the reel and its design of being "built tough". I have greatly enjoyed using the reel to fish for a variety of fish including carp and catfish. This reel pairs well with any Ugly Stik casting rod.

I purchased 2 of these reels for my mother who is a fan of ugly stik like me. She used it on one occasion, and it was a dream for her. Next outting, the spincast launch key quit working! Took it apart and couldn't find what was possibly wrong with it. Disappointed for sure. Hope the back up works good.

When switching the handle, make sure to pull out the little washer from the bolt side or the handle won't slide into place.
