Paired this w/ a Shimano GX reel. The rod casts very well - close to my target every time.
Not a fan of fine-tuning the reel (bird nests cost me 100 yds of braid in 3 days!!!) but the rod casts very accurately, has great eyes on the guides for a silky smooth retrieve, and holds up for trekking into some hidden fissin' holes!!
Another excellent rod guys - 2/3 of my rigs are You-glee Sticks, and I have 35 or 40 rods
from 4# mono to 220# braid.

Light strong and looks great. I will use this for walking baits in current for cats/stripers

Very tough and sensitive. I wish there was a 6'8 version of this, really will make it balance between distance and accuracy.

I bought this rod at the W store in Falmouth. I liked the feel and balance. I paired this with a Shimano DC reel, and like how it casts. Looking forward to a good fishing season!
