Just bought the gx2 combo and the gears in the reel went out the first time using it had other ugly stix combo never had a problem ever with the reel first time it ever happened

I have had mine for about 4 years now, I've caught hundreds of fish with this reel on and surpassed multiple PB trout in the mean time. That actionc feels good and the durability is unmatched

ive had 3 of theese reels the size 40 ones i loved them since they matched with the ugly stick gx2 but after 2 months with the first one the handing was being weird i opended it and the gear was completely worn down i passed it as a defect but it just happend a second time where the main gears teeth are completly worn down this wouldent be a problem if ugly stick told replacment gears not the quality you expect from a ugly tuff reel
